About

HearFeel is a music review blog/site focused largely, but not necessarily exclusively, on recent Ambient and Electronic music, and of course all the little subgenres in between. Most of the reviews here do genuinely come from the heart and much of the covered material here is music that I’ve enjoyed, so don’t expect entirely objective discussion.

If you have any music – album, EP, single or otherwise – that you think would fit the general trend of this site, feel free to drop me an email at cdohertyingram@gmail.com, or fire me a tweet @kkiippyy. Point of note: singles are rarely covered, but I do listen to submissions, and please try to send whole promo copies; teaser singles are largely pointless to me, especially if the album’s already out!

Like us on Facebook!

I have a Last.fm page if anyone’s interested in what I’m listening to.

I also have Rate Your Music for rating and keeping track of albums. I’ve also used it to make my comprehensive, continuously updated albums lists for 20122013, and of course the current 2014, sorted in descending order, for the nosy.

There’s not much else to be said. I’m Chris, I’m 21, I live in Birmingham, England

Apologies in advance for any terrible grammar and inappropriate synonyms you find lurking around.

Bavota and his piano at the Royal Albert Hall
Young pianist and composer from Neapolis Bruno Bavota played at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event was scheduled on April 2nd.
Bavota on stage at the prestigious British theater as part of the Accidental Festival Gala. The Festival is a platform that allows young artist to present their work at the Roundhouse, home to the finest musicians and performers in the world, in the heart of London, in Camden. His piano will be the soundtrack of the whole evening, that will culminate in a presentation of the artist and his latest album “La casa sulla luna” (The house on the moon)

The album – “LA CASA SULLA LUNA” AND RESEMBLANCE TO EINAUDI
“La casa sulla luna” (The house on the moon) is the second album released by Bruno Bavota, and it follows the success of his debut album “Il pozzo d’amor” (The well of love), very well received by critics and very often compared to Ludovico Einaudi. With this second job, Bavota continues his journey in atemporal places. It follows that “La cassia sulla luna” is a sort of ‘container for dreams’. Ten tracks that evoke positive feelings and emotions. Among the tracks, there is also a tribute to the cinema: “Il dito si muove sul vetro appannato” (The finger moves on the misty glass), title of the third track, was inspired by a phrase said by Sean Penn in the award-winning film by Paolo Sorrentino “This must be the place”.
    TRACKLIST:
    1 – Amour
    2 – L’uomo che rubò la Luna
3 – Il dito si muove sul vetro appannato
    4 – C’è un cinema laggiù

    6 – Buongiorno, buonanotte

  4. Hey Chris,
I’ve recently stumbled upon your blog here and I’d like it if you could give my band’s two EPs, This Is My Cat and A Far Cry From, a quick listen. I would love to hear what you think of them. I’m not sure if they’re going to quite be your thing, but I figure “Why not?”.

You can find the link below.
